Prefeasibility Study Completed
WRM has completed a Prefeasibility Study (PFS) for full-scale mining and processing at the Eqat Gold Mine. Led by NewPro Consulting & Engineering Services Pty Ltd (Australia), the study targets a 3 million tonne per annum Gravity and CIL processing plant with an 11-year mine life and targeted production of approximately 150,000 oz per year at 90-93% gold recovery. The PFS was completed with AMC Consultants, ALS Laboratories, Fortin Pipelines, and Aggreko.
Eqat Gold Mine Represented at Africa Down Under
WRM at Africa Down Under, one of the leading mining investment conferences focused on African mineral resources. The delegation included representation alongside Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, reinforcing the strong governmental support behind the Eqat project and its profile among the international mining and investment community.
Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources Site Visit
In March 2023, Egypt's Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources visited the Eqat mine site, a demonstration of active government support and engagement with the project. The visit included a full technical briefing led by the WRM exploration and operations team, a tour of the mine site, processing area, gold room and review of the development plans.
WRM holds an Exploitation and Development Lease granted by the Mineral Resources & Mining Industries Authority (MRMIA), with a production-sharing structure involving MRMIA and the Shalateen Mineral Resources Company (SMRC), reflecting strong alignment between WRM and Egyptian governmental institutions.

WRM participated in the Egypt Mining Forum, the country's premier platform for dialogue between mining companies, government bodies, and investors. The event provided an opportunity to showcase the Eqat Gold Mine project and engage with key stakeholders across Egypt's growing mining sector.
